This pub was voted as one of the best in Whitechapel on our Crossrail pub crawl.
Not to be confused with the other White Hart, a little west on Whitechapel Road, the White Hart Brew Pub stands proud at the crossroads with Cambridge Heath Road.
The pub serves its own ales (the Hospital Porter was strong but excellent), alongside other London stuff — Redemption on our most recent visit.
On a Saturday lunch, a real mix of people were enjoying the pub, with families and 20-somethings dotted about the room and sat outside, and a few locals, who'll remember the White Hart's older incarnation, chatting amiably with the bar staff.
Other furnishings include a number of old road signs from the local area and those bang-on-trend plastic chandeliers that seem to be springing up everywhere.
