Bistro Mirey
Neighbourhood french restaurant serving seasonal French classics with Japanese influence! Dinner and lunch daily and brunches on Saturday and Sunday.
WELCOME! | Bistro Mirey
This is a lovely little French Bistro with a Japanese influence.
The food is good and the service was attentive and welcoming.
It was actually quite quiet when we went and there was only a couple of other tables in but don't let that fool you that the food isn't good!
It's a bit off the beaten track but the chef and manager definitely know what they are doing.... nice seasonal ingredients with a lovely twist.

The wine list was fairly limited, with eighteen French wines ranging in price from £22 to £80, with a median price of £29.50 and an average markup a shade under three times retail price.
The avocado was fine but the seaweed didn’t add much flavour, while the tempura was really soggy and would definitely not pass muster in Tokyo (barely 11/20).
Both Mr Ko and our waiter, from Lyon, were very pleasant and friendly.
If you had three courses with a side dish and coffee and shared a modest bottle of wine from the list then the cost per head would be around £55.
I really wanted to like Bistro Mirey, an independent restaurant in a slightly tricky location, Sadly, apart from the beef tartare, the food was just not very good.

Bistro Mirey offers fabulous, unpretentious French food, each dish with a soupçon of distinctive Japanese-flavoured inspiration.
Bistro Mirey is open for lunch & dinner everyday (closed Mondays) & also for brunch on weekends.
So glad I finally scaled my first Mont Blanc at Bistro Mirey, the preserved chestnut and whipped cream concoction floated on a heavenly light cloud of cake.
Bistro Mirey is also stocking the increasingly popular Japanese craft beer, Coedo, which is Belgian-beer-inspired.
Prices: With starters between £6 – £9, and mains ranging from £10 – £16, Bistro Mirey is affordable enough to visit for any occasion.
