We are delighted to welcome you to the Spice Club, one of the finest, if not the best, Indian restaurants in Sevenoaks and Kent.

Our doors first opened in 2001 and we are proud to have a reputation of sublime food and wonderful service.

Spice Club is a state of fashion, aspirational, young and young at heart.

At Spice Club we embrace both traditional and modern Indian cuisine.

“My family and I have been coming to the Spice Club for the last 8 years now and simply put, it is one of the best Indian Restaurants in Kent.

The spice road: Ravinder Bhogal's recipes from Jikoni restaurant

Ravinder Bhogal’s restaurant, Jikoni, opened in london just eight months ago, but I’d bet she doesn’t get much of a chance to dwell on how fast that time has gone.

‘It feels miraculous,’ she says, when we speak on one of her rare days off, ‘and very strange to look back on it.’

Strange not least because, as a fledgling chef-patron who had never before had to deal with staffing and suppliers on top of seven-day stints at the stove, she had planned ‘a very quiet opening’ for her Marylebone venue.

I didn’t think I was on their radar,’ Bhogal admits.

Meal for two, including wine and service £140 At the southwestern corner of Central Park in Manhattan is a glorious restaurant called Jean Georges, where nothing bad can ever happen.

It is a review of Spice Market, one of Vongerichten's "diffusion brands" which has just been imported from New York to a flash new hotel on the corner of Leicester Square.

Spice Market is meant to be all lounge vibe, downlighters and open kitchens, the food a Pan-Asian crash and clatter.

Or, as the website puts it: "with each new dish patrons are transported to the idealisation of a Vietnamese street market or a Thai food stall".

A version of this is a key dish at Jean Georges, where it features tuna.
