Stingray: The Best Gluten Free Pizza in North London - Kimi Eats ...

If you live or find yourself in North London and want to eat the best gluten free pizza, then head to Stingray in Tufnell Park!

They have an extensive gluten free menu that includes proper Italian stone baked pizzas, pasta, starters and side dishes like potato skins, olives and fried calamari.

And as I mentioned above (and further down below), they cook the pizzas in separate trays and in a dedicated gluten free oven so it’s safe to say Stingray are on the ball when it comes to cross-contamination.

Quite a few restaurants, especially chains, do ‘gluten free’ pizza these days, but unfortunately many of them are also highly questionable from a cross-contamination perspective (yes I’m looking at you Pizza Hut and Dominos)… I love pizza, but not when it involves playing Russian roulette with my intestines.

Not only does the Tufnell Park Stingray have a great extensive gluten free menu, but they’re actually very well informed about gluten and cross-contamination these days.

Stingray sticks out like a sore thumb among the other eateries down Fortress Road, within earshot of Tufnell Park station and very much shouted about among the north London community.

It’s for these reasons that Stingray has become a local fixture in the Tufnell Park community.

Stingray offers everything you’d expect from a classic Italian restaurant, but with a far more down-home, trattoria-style vibe than most other London Italian restaurants with such a comprehensive offering.

The menu covers starters, mains, pasta, risotto and salads, but perhaps the most popular covered base is Stingray’s selection of pizza – always a Tufnell Park favourite.

Real gems are to be found in this Italian restaurant’s special main menu, where Italian ravioli and homemade gnocchi meet Spanish-Basque-style cod and hefty burgers and steaks.
