La Fabrica

La Fabrica – Spanish Tapas Food

Ultimate dining experience like no other David was born in Malaga and moved to London about 10 years ago.

In addition, he took advantage of his vast knowledge of world wine and in particular Spanish wine and started supplying and choosing wines for restaurants.

A place residents can have an exciting glass of wine with a bite or two of well and freshly prepared food, Spanish style.

While the transformation from old Indian restaurant to an exciting and modern Spanish Bar was taking place, the pair succeeded in attracting some of the best talents that they worked with in the past, such as Jordi Montalban from Granada.

The idea is simple, to cook only from authentic Spanish ingredients and fresh local produce to be accompanied with wonderful wines.

La Fabrica Crouch End: Best Local Spanish Food Restaurant ...

La Fabrica is a modern Spanish kitchen where our carefully selected ingredients and fresh products are combined to give the patrons the sensation of dining in the best that an Andalusian restaurant has to offer.

Our dishes are divided into traditional tapas, that our chef has twisted to his own style, and his signature dishes he invented according to his southern background, using the modern techniques such as vacuum cooking in low temperatures (our beef cheeks are cooked in vacuum at low temperature for 19 hours).

Really nice food and wine list the restaurant is recommended This is our second time visiting La Fabrica and I am happy to say the experience is still as good as ever.

The dishes at La Fabrica are tasty, varied, nicely presented, and always served with a smile.

With the benefit of having lived in Spain, with Spanish relations, I am very happy to confirm that these Spanish tapas are the genuine article, with the added benefit of creative presentation of dishes and a special range of La Fabrica tapas, which add depth to an already extensive menu.

Fabrica's wine list is especially worthy of praise, featuring a huge range chosen by someone who really knows their sh"t. I will drink Navazos Niepoort 2014 for £28 and 7 fuentes for £33 all day long.

Walk into La Fabrica and you could be in that cool tapas bar you were looking for Barcelona.

We were not completely happy with the changes made, notably to the menu, and the move away from tapas, but were delighted to find that the new pre-cinema tapas menu consisted of beautifully prepared dishes and was great value for money -even better than our memories of la Bota.

This was our second visit to La Bota.

We are regular customers at La Bota, often combining a meal there with a visit to the nearby Arthouse Cinema.

We are invariably impressed with the selection and quality of the tapas, the service and value for money at La Bota and highly recommend it.

The food at La Bota is superb, always and the fact that people were turned away because the tables were filled by 8pm is indicative of its popularity.

‘They’re not perfect yet – the chef didn’t put any onions into tonight’s albóndigas.’

Fortunately, the extensive tapas menu, divided into traditional and ‘Fabrica Tapas’, offers more than 20 alternatives – all playing with classic Spanish flavours without going too crazy.

Despite the missing ingredient, they tasted perfectly good: finely minced beef and pork formed into four golfball-sized albóndigas, tucked into a creamy, almond-specked sauce.

Alliums aside, La Fabrica’s chef seems to know his onions, and has the balls to do something different.

La Fabrica’s main charm lies in its rustic interior – wood-panelled walls, industrial metal lampshades, mix-and-match patchwork tiles on the floor.
