Dim Sum Dim Sum originated in the Imperial Court of China over 1500 years ago, where rare ingredients were combined with specialist cooking techniques to present harmonious yet exciting treats for the Emperors.
Further through the centuries, Dim Sum was used to entice travellers and merchants to the tea houses along the silk trade route.
Today the chefs at Courtesan honour the regal origins of Dim Sum in producing an innovative menu using modern ingredients from around the globe.
All Courtesan’s Dim Sum is made in-house, with a focus on pure, MSG and preservative-free ingredients and offers extensive vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.
Female Wine and Spirit List Courtesan is the proud home to the world’s first true ‘female’ wine and spirit list, either produced or grown exclusively by women.
