Seven Dials Café, Pre-theatre Restaurant & Post-theatre Cocktails & burgers
We are Balans Soho Society and we live by the philosophy that too much of a good thing is a good thing, the best plan is no plan and that the pursuit of pleasure is a noble one.

Balans Soho Society Seven Dials Café review, Covent Garden ...
food drinks
Long-cherishedlouche haven of bon vivants gets a new outpost – with a diner-style revamp The welcome: If you’ve been to the original Balans Soho Society, you know what to expect.
Hench, charmingly peppy, (camp) men – wearing aprons which say things like ‘reprobate’ and ‘best plan no plan’ – serve indulgent food and even more indulgent cocktails with just the right level of chutzpah.
The original Balans Soho Society charms with its mash of fussy wallpaper, banquet sofas naughty paintings and kitschy bric-a-brac.
Balans, the naughty antichrist of good taste, became so well-loved because it stuck to its gaudy self in a world that is otherwise suffocating from an overdose of industrial chic and exposed brick.
The food: All the food is, as far as possible, freshly made, even the beer batter on the haddock and double dipped chips.

Chef's table private dining London restaurants Chef's Table.
For this, you will be lavished with special attention and see just how clean a real working kitchen is (there's no spitting in the soup, no roaches, no culinary genius of a rat secretly puppeteering the chef...) But in all seriousness, a restaurant chef's table is a wonderful way to get up close and personal with some of the best chefs in London, and to educate yourselves about exceptional food.
What's more, a chef's table dining experience transforms dinner into a culinary adventure as entertaining as any West End show.

Top 10 things to know about Boki: 1) If there is such a thing as a healthy version of McDonald's, Boki bar and restaurant in Covent Garden is making a brave stab at not just winning that crown, but resolutely surpassing it.
Boki sliders use crayfish that tastes as though it’s just been caught from the sea, and avocado that has just been plucked from the trees.
4) Boki also uses fad healthy ingredients like charcoal brioche buns to attract the Covent Garden diners.
5) If that doesn't sound healthy enough, then the Boki vegan bowl will satisfy the most demanding health fanatic.
10) Boki has the kind of relaxed environment in which you and your laptop can plan your next presentation for breakfast, or post-spin class workout, chow down on a healthy dinner....read more

food
Starting life in 1990 as a 24-hour restaurant and café on Old Compton Street, it was a place best stumbled into after an evening of gay clubbing, for a sexy French brasserie atmos and early morning cocktails.
The manifesto on their website (yes, they have a manifesto) salutes the ‘rogue, the rascal and the reprobate’, but the vibe at this latest outpost, a Seven Dials Café, is more working lunch than wild wino.
The food, though, still hits the 3am spot, even if this branch actually closes at 11pm.
All in all, Balans may no longer be as achingly hip, but this is still a snug, dependable spot to grab a bite.
