From their Putney High Road premises, they are bringing great comfort food and an excellent selection of ales and lagers to the city’s pie-eaters (one need not necessarily come from Wigan to be a pie-eater).
The dining room at Putney Pies London is quintessentially British.
Diners come for the pies but stay for the great beers and ales on tap, and the family friendly atmosphere which extends to a dedicated children’s menu.
Putney’s Putney High Road is awash with places to grab a bite, so it's a testament to Putney Pie’s success that they are pulling big crowds day and night.

Their ambition to blend the tradition of British pie-eating with a setting that feels expensive enough to justify its address means that Putney Pies appears - at first - to be a bit confused.
The food - served in generous portions - is first-rate though.
Steak and kidney pie - the important test of any pie vendor - came in a light and airy pastry with pleasantly tender meat.
Generous portions, tasty fare and sub-Nando's prices make Putney Pies a welcome outpost of Britishness in an otherwise wilderness of continental cuisine.
