food

We have a rotating series of resident chefs who make food fresh in our kitchen.

They make food that is tasty, simple and affordable.

Beginning with delivering food around Hackney Wick by bicycle and then dropping anchor with a food truck in Queens Yard in October 2015  Capitan Tortilla has become a popular staple of the area.

You can find them in our kitchen on any evening of a performance, serving food from 6pm onwards.

Came here after Pride last weekend, and although it was a little rammed (understandably), it had a really upbeat feel with top summer tunes coming from the garden and cheap beer on tap.

Loved the garden courtyard area.

Add to that an extensive cocktail list and a light food menu served from 1pm as well as a relaxed upstairs bar - 'The Loft' and the open air courtyard which comes into its own in the summer the 'Yard and Loft Bar' really has something for everyone.

Atmosphere: Value: Quality: steve vorden , London Show all user reviews for The Yard Bar “I go here often as I like the atmosphere, last night there was not good as the guy who appeared to be the manager was very rude, the customer in front of me took a bit long to decide what to order and the manager was clearly very impatient, I then asked for red wine, he just looked at me and said, red what?

It's a great open space with good quality drinks at fair prices...I do wonder though how they get all those gorgoes boys behind the bar though...wowo!

“Quite small gay friendly bar, partly indoor and partly out, with heaters for the outside, at night can get a bit congested but the music and bar staff are very friendly and service is very good.
