The place that I would very highly recommend that you visit for a meal is Mother Mash, a small but cozy restaurant tucked somewhere inside the buzzing Carnaby Shopping Street.

You get two choices: either mash with sausages or mash with a pie.

Other than going for the classic mash with milk and butter, I challenged myself to a bubble and squeak, something that sounded like a beer manufacturing company at first glance.

Starting from 11:30am, you can enjoy a more exclusive menu for lunch and dinner, in which you can go on a British adventure of good mash, good pies, good sausages, and of course, good drinks.

I would strongly advise anyone in London, looking for a good, comfort food kind of a meal, to head over to Mother Mash for a delicious experience.

Along with many speciality oysters on offer, The Wright Brothers has an extensive A la Carte menu including some seriously mouth-watering dishes such as a whole black pepper crab, mussels in Penang curry sauce and a selection of sake platters.

We tried the tempura king prawn & cod and the Jersey oysters, salmon ceviche and Atlantic prawn boards which were both affordable and delightful! The restaurant serves a selection of delicious desserts which are perfect for those with a bit more time on their hands before the theatre.

On top of that, the Wright Brothers has a great selection of wine and cocktails.Monday-Saturday: 12pm-11pmSunday: 12pm-10pmCall 020 7434 3611 for reservations and further information.13 Kingly Street, London W1B 5PWDuring a trip to London, what could be better than some hearty traditional British grub?

Pie and mash and sausage and mash have always been much celebrated dishes in England and good old fashioned pie shops have been littering the London streets for centuries.
