Kua 'Aina (Carnaby Street)
Come visit our very first store in Soho just off Carnaby Street and see where it all started.
Carnaby Street - Kua 'Aina
Because our Carnaby Street site is so compact, we seat everyone on a first-come, first-served basis (we don’t take reservations).
Don’t worry though, everyone gets seated pretty quickly.
For parties that are 8 or more, don’t forget that our Goodge Street store is twice the size and less than 10 minutes walk away, with two dining rooms that are great for private parties – the Surf Lounge and the Sunset Room – that can each seat 20-30 people.

Kua 'Aina - Carnaby Street
Kua 'Aina serve up an exotic range of 'lava-grilled' burgers from the Aloha State.
Founded by Terry Thompson on O'ahu back in 1975, this burger bar chain is an Obama favourite when he visits his home state, and it's already made waves in Ireland.
What's for Lunch? Kua Aina, Carnaby Street | Londonist
food
Flipping burgers and such since 1975 in the surfer paradise of Haleiwa, Hawaii with subsequent franchises opening in Honolulu, Tokyo and now London, Kua Aina is a burger joint with a mellow island vibe.
Smartly situated for Carnaby shoppers and cosy enough for a lunch time sit down, this months-old burger and sandwich grill appears to be a popular pit stop from what we could tell on our midweek visit.
Prices are a bit dear for what amounts to a hyped-up burger joint with some (admittedly very relaxing and hum-along-able) Hawaiian music piped through.
We very much approve of Kua Aina's savoury chargrilled mahi mahi fillet sandwich with “Ortega chili” and cheese (£8.95).
Open for brekkie, lunch and dinner, serving Asahi Superdry on tap, wine and an impressive list of sandwiches and tropically inspired burgers along with “American fluffy” pancakes, frozen yoghurt, salads and more – Kua Aina is located at 26 Foubert's Place, W1F 7P (right off Carnaby Street).
