Thanks to the size and long history of the Italian community in Soho you're never far from great pizza, and the best are being done at Princi, an Italian bakery on Wardour Street.

For places to spend longer than it takes to down your shot of caffeine, there's TAP Coffee (the Wardour Street branch), and Soho Grind, the Beak Street opening from the people behind Shoreditch Grind.

You're spoiled for steak choice in Soho, and some the best are Prix Fixe, with a French bistro feel, Flat Iron (branches on Beak Street and Denmark Street) for a more British take and Zelman Meats doing beef by the weight in a traditional steakhouse setting.

But for loveliness rather than any real swagger, 10 Greek Street does un-ostentatiously great food, in an unostentatious space — floors are wooden, tables are tableclothless and the menu's simple and British-ish.

The bar in Poland Street will offer the usual BrewDog beers such as Punk IPA, Dead Pony Club amongst others as well as a full food menu and, in true Soho style, potentially a craft beer SEXLINE in the basement…and they’re not even kidding!

All we can say is we’ll definitely be popping in for that cheeky pint (…or two) after our Saturday shop in Oxford Street.

Soho plays the next host to the almighty craft beer network of hounds that are taking London.

BrewDog have launched their first central London watering hole, complete so Soho’s night revelers can get a taste of craft beer and comfort foods.

Set over two floors and boasting 20 taps of craft beer goodness on each level, the newest BrewDog is the second of their venues to feature a full food menu.

Offering a ground floor brimming with energy and a more relaxed, discerning vibe in the basement, come for craft beer delights and fresh pretzels, and there’s even a beer ‘sexline’ in the basement… we kid you not.
