Francos: HOME
Franco’s sprung to life on Jermyn Street in 1946 and has continued to serve the residents, community and visitors to Jermyn Street and St James’s for 70 years.
It is believed that Franco’s was one of the first Italian restaurants in London.
Located at the St James’s end of Jermyn Street, Franco’s is surrounded by the lifestyle boutiques, private clubs, art galleries and hotels of the area.
Open all day, the personality of the restaurant evolves from bustling ‘English’ breakfast to a sharp and charged lunch, leading on to an elegant dinner setting.
Regardless of the time of day relaxed and friendly service ensures there is always somebody to greet you with a smile.

Francesca from london Food was delicious.
Chiara, NW6 Always excellent food when I order from this restaurant, and the delivery is always quick.
The house red was really light and fruity really recommend this place for traditional Italian food, lovely staff and a really cosy restaurant.
We've been several times, and not only is the food to die for but the service is second to none.
The space is a bit on the cosy side, but, all together dining at Delicious takes you to another time and place.

staff
Stefano joined Franco’s as a senior chef de partie two years after the restaurant’s initial re-design in 2005.
Two years later when the previous head chef resigned, it was an easy decision to promote Stefano to Head Chef.
Stefano continues to inspire and delight with new dishes on a daily basis.
Although from the north of Italy, Stefano has a passion for many of the ingredients from central and southern regions.
With Stefano’s thoughtful guidance, Franco’s continues to focus on ensuring the consistency and quality of all the products we serve.
Franco Manca W4 restaurant review 2013 June London | Pizza ...
food
Franco Manca in Brixton Market is something of a legend amongst foodies; open only for lunch, people queue around the block to eat its pizzas.
The lovely tiled floor uses tiles (some dating back to the 16th century) from a villa in Naples that was damaged in the earthquake in 1980; piece of damaged tiles are used to decorate the pizza oven.
The pizza oven is a wood-burning “Tufae” oven constructed on the site by builders from Naples, and weighs eight tons, getting to 550C.
Sad foodie that I am, I was there early to ensure that I ate the very first pizza produced from the oven on the restaurant’s first service when it opened.
However, no one wants to eat elaborate food every day, and it is a delight to see someone with such passion trying to produce the very finest pizza that can be made.

drinks
GO HERE : for natural wine in an old Cash2Carry shop in Clapton.
Owner Liam Kellerher goal is for it to feel like a friend’s flat: You eat from a five to nine-item menu written by chef Giuseppe Lacorazza, and have a glass of whichever organic, natural, or biodynamic wine is open.
You won’t spend more than £25 a head on food, with glasses starting at £5, but it’s hard not to leave without buying a couple of bottles of wine to take home.
THE VIBE IS : more like a pub than a wine bar, with Clapton hipsters filling each of the 15 seats around the communal table and sometimes the sidewalk outside.
The wine shop and bar is open every day but Monday, from late afternoon to 10 or 11 p.m.
