Don Pepe - Don Pepe Spanish Restaurant & Tapas Bar, London's oldest Tapas bar serving traditional, tasty Spanish food and drink
Established in 1974 by the Garcia brothers, Jose (Pepe) and Alejandro, Don Pepe is London's oldest family run Spanish Restaurant & Tapas Bar.
It has withstood the test of time, and where many have come and gone, Don Pepe has thrived and continues to offer excellent value authentic Spanish cuisine.
The baton has now been handed down to the next generation, Yolanda (Pepe's eldest daughter) and her husband Spencer, and it is up to us to rise to the challenge and ensure Don Pepe continues on to the next generation (Daniela get ready...).
We hope you will join us during these exciting times and look forward to seeing you soon.

The Venue Set in a side street just off the concrete collage that is Edgware Road and laying claim to being one of London’s longest-running Spanish restaurants, Don Pepe comes as an almost instant relief.
Almost every other detail seems to have been largely unchanged in Don Pepe’s relatively long life and cutlery and tableware is tarnished and tired-looking.
The list is fairly standard, and yet one which, in the right hands, might still talk of the type of fresh, vital food which is Spanish cuisine at its best.
Onto mains and, as a Spanish old-timer itself, one would at least hope that Don Pepe might pull off that famous national staple, paella.
The Last Word Set in an interesting location and offering a cuisine that can, when well done, be both current and accessible to all, Don Pepe has some good elements but shows a lack of care in too many ways to make most casual diners interested in returning.
