We are so proud to invite you to Rafael “Pollo” Brito concert: SOLO, along with Percusionist Ernesto Marichales one of the best Venezuelan artist living in London and a Special Guest, Afrobeats singer Yasmin Kadi followed by a Venezuelan Dj and animation thanks to Fitness Fun Machine plus traditional Venezuelan Food by Liqui Liqui Venezuelan Deli & Artisan Cheeses.
Brito’s musical approach seeks to mix traditional afro-Venezuelan rhythms with elements from pop music, which combine with the harp and the Venezuelan cuatro to produce an innovative and refreshing sound.
Rafael has been a part of numerous orchestras and bands, not only as an oboe or cuatro player, but also as a choir singer, composer, arranger and musical director.
Exciting local Pop / Afrobeat Artist Yasmin Kadi, whose debut EP went to No.1 on iTunes Ireland has performed alongside Paloma Faith at London’s 02 Forum, headlined the Women of the World festival at the Southbank and toured with MOBO Award winning Hip Hop veteran Roots Manuva.
