Housed inside a stylish boutique, Comptoir 102 is what happens when healthy eating meets Parisian taste.
The café specialises in organic food and local produce, and recipes are primarily vegan, raw and gluten-free.
If you visit late in the day, you may find that they’ve run out of all the specials.
But there’s usually a good reason for this: Comptoir 102 doesn’t want to waste or freeze food, so everything is made fresh to be eaten every day.

At Comptoir Cafe and Wine, Rousset graduates from the wines of Burgundy and offers an extensive wine list, but his personal approach to viticulture means waiters still make informal recommendations based on your preference.
The relaxed upstairs cafe boasts all the Instagrammable must-haves: al fresco dining, a sink with enough wine for a modest to bumping Bergerac party, cosmopolitan clock faces, gorgeous floor-to-ceiling industrial windows so you can sit and watch the fabulous people of Mayfair pass like you’re in a fancy fish tank.
The food and drink: Fancy fish is a Comptoir motif.
The food at the hybrid bar-cafe is great, but it’s these wine elements that are the most exciting.
Would we return: The food is great, but it’ll be our favourite place to stop out for a glass of wine.

Comptoir Cafe & Wine, the sister cafe to renowned Blanford Comptoir in Marylebone, brings together seasonal ingredients and quality suppliers with the sense of home-from-home familiarity.
Serving early morning breakfast signature dishes from Eggs Benedict to home-made granolas, through to ceviche, salads and hot dishes until the late hours.
Discerning Londoner can also order from a wine list curated by the owners themselves available for purchase in the shop downstairs.

Quaffing wine to Shakira seemed unlikely given the Mayfair setting.
But I can’t say it’s an experience I didn’t enjoy, even if the businessmen to my left looked a little shell-shocked (a few wines later and they were loosening their ties).
Master sommelier Xavier Rousset – formerly of Michelin-starred Texture and now proud parent of Blandford Comptoir and other wine-heavy restaurants – is behind this all-day wine bar.
We were given sound advice for something with a bit more body or a touch more fruitiness on the list of reds, which was excellent, since many wines by the glass were lesser-known varieties.
Salty boquerones on toast and a cheese board holding gooey French numbers went well with the wine.
