During a brief business trip through London this past May, LL ate his first dinner and first breakfast at Côte Brasserie.

In the spirit of exploring, he wandered out on a warm Thursday evening from his tiny soundproof room at the Marriott in Grovesnor Square toward Oxford Street and Marylebone to see what there was to see.

We didn’t guess that “one day” would happened a short 4 months later, and I would be with him this time, and we would wander our of our tiny soundproof room at the Marriott in Grovesnor Square on a warm Thursday evening toward Oxford Street and Marylebone to see what there was to see and take photos of the windows at Selfridge’s and then eat our first dinner and our first breakfast together at Côte Brasserie.

We started with tiny olives and toothy, dense, freshly baked bread with unsalted butter, and a plate of sliced tomatoes.

More of that fresh dense bread shaped into a thin baguette with a couple slices of what we buy here as back bacon, unsalted butter, and tomato chutney and brown sauce on the side.

food

Côte Brasserie at St Christopher’s Place has created a quintessential French atmosphere with a cosy and elegant space for guests to dine in style.

Situated in the heart of London and offering delightful street-front terrace dining, Côte Brasserie St Christopher’s Place is open from breakfast through to dinner seven nights per week, offering a seasonal and creative menu with something for everyone.

London is the epitome of gastronomic delights and Côte Brasserie is one such French delight focused on good quality food and the overall experience of its valued guests.

This Marylebone treasure can be found just off Oxford Street and is an ideal spot to head to after spending the day or late evening wandering the streets of inner-city London.

It is also advisable to leave room for a true Côte speciality in the way of crème caramel – a truly heavenly experience.

food

If you enjoy Lebanese food this is authentic and reasonably priced considering your location in one of the most affluent areas of the city.

The crowd isnt pretentious and there is a take out area downstairs if you dont have time to dine in.

babaganoush, falafal and kebabs are delicious.

Keep in mind that if you order a kebab, they will take it off the skewer and serve in a dish with the sauce, so it can be fairly rich.
