Besides the regular a la carte, on the menu… the chef can cook anything (LOVE & SHOUTOUT!!!)

I love restaurants with this level of confidence.

I have been to this restaurant multiple times.

This Bangladeshi restaurant rocks!

Don’t get me wrong, modest plating is important to me, but if the food is dry/too salty/bleh then honestly just cook properly already.

It was probably a good thing that I didn’t know about the celebrity status of this restaurant prior to the visit.

His first restaurant, ‘Social’ on Pollen street London , has been awarded 1 Michelin star within its first year of opening.

1 Michelin star: “A very good restaurant in its category” (Une très bonne table dans sa catégorie) 2 Michelin stars: “Excellent cooking, worth a detour” (Table excellent, mérite un détour) 3 Michelin stars: “Exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey” (Une des meilleures tables, vaut le voyage) Only a restaurant that can maintain consistency will be awarded 3 stars.

Consistency means very time you visit, it must remain the same *this is by far the hardest thing to achieve 😛 Restaurants do get re-inspection and can maintain/gain/lose their star(s).

There are a few famous chefs who had rat / pest infestation at their lovely starred restaurants… Alright, back here in the ranch, I am just a cooking enthusiast who is obsessed about cooking temperatures and beautiful cooking pots *LOL* So while my friend was explaining all these fancy stuff, I was like… so was it all just hype / high price / big marketing or what?

Sannin was just lovely, never having had Lebanese food before I was a bit apprehensive but everything was delicious and the service was great.

We had the hummus dip which was delicious and all the mains were so good, the meat was delicious and tender.Going back again tonight and we can't wait.

With the development of the Shinkansen lines in Japan, mythical night trains such as Hokutosei, Cassiopeia and Mizukaze have gradually retired.

The "Train Suite Shiki Shima", literally meaning "the island of the four seasons", proposes, from May 1st 2017, to help guests discover northern Japan in a luxury train with superior atmosphere.

Combining both modern and rustic styles, the Twilight Express Mizukaze train will, from June 17, 2017,  showcase the spectacular landscapes of southern Japan, especially along the coast.

Five different tours are available from Kyoto and Osaka: the four tours include one night on board and two days of travel, as well as a two-night and three-day tour: - Journey to Sanyo: a two-day tour from Kyoto or Osaka station to Shimonoseki station via Sanyo main line - Return trip to Sanyo: a two-day tour from Shimonoseki station to Osaka or Kyoto station - Journey Sanin: a two-day tour from Kyoto or Osaka station to Shimonoseki station via the Sanin main line - Return trip Sanin: a two-day visit from Shimonoseki Station to Osaka or Kyoto station via Sanin's main line Round Trip: A three-day round trip from Kyoto or Osaka Station via Okayama, Shinji / Matsue and Higashihama stations.

These two new trains are already a great success: the first journeys were fully booked well in advance...

Simple Minds at the Hackney Empire | Live review – The Upcoming

Last night, the two remaining original members of Simple Minds officially inaugurated their new acoustic set at the Hackney Empire, with BBC Radio 2 covering the event live on air.

With a long and eventful career behind them, the band have decided to take on a new direction using their old hits.

After a short introduction from Jo Whiley of the BBC, the curtain rose to reveal blazing white lights, a fantastically kitsch chandelier and a boisterous seven-piece band that launched straight into an energetic arrangement of New Gold Dream, with the powerfully flamboyant Cherisse Osei playing a stand-up drum kit in the centre.

Fortunately for Kerr and Burchill, their fans’ support has always been rock solid – but there is something unappealing about an ageing rock band playing acoustically while the frontman hangs off the side of the stage beckoning to a fawning audience, and kneels passionately to bask in his fading glory.

While the acoustic rehash of Simple Minds’ old hits is certainly no improvement upon the originals, it was solidly executed and clearly a valuable experience for the long-lived lovers of the band.
