On the streets of the city it is recommended to avoid large crowds of people as these are the most favorable places for pickpockets.

Camcorders and cameras are best to be worn on a strap over your shoulder or fastened to your belt.Buses remain the most accessible way of getting around the city as taxis in London are quite expensive. Most restaurants include tips in the total bill.

As a rule, the tips here range from 10 to 15%.

Leaving tips in pubs is not common.Under no circumstances leave your personal belongings unattended, even in a car that has been rented.

Special guarding parking is the best place to leave your car as there are quite many car thieves in London.

The Montcalm London Hotel | Oyster.com Review & Photos

The Montcalm is a luxury hotel situated on a relatively peaceful, residential street that is walking distance from the buzz and bustle of Oxford Street.

However the room decor doesn't quite reflect the caliber of the hotel.

Rooms at the nearby The Arch hotel probably have a nicer finish, and the overall vibe is less stuffy, though it is lacking a spa or pool.
