Zaman | A West End Restaurant With Fusion Cuisine
The set menu was an interesting selection over all three courses I cannot comment on the full menu but my friends and I wanted a quick dessert and a glass of wine before we boarded the coach after being a tourist for the day.
The head waiter I presume could not be more accommodating we had a great desert a bottle of wine and an Irish coffee in a short space of time.
We were only sorry we could not have stayed longer but I am sure we will visit again to have the full menu because we could not fault the service I don't get to London as often as I would like, this place is amazing and the quality of food is exceptional on all counts, I have been many times and the standards are excellent each time.
The service from floor staff seems to come from an era gone bye, attention to detail is flawless and very professional Just a quick note to tell you how wonderful your F&B team really is.
I always have a great time no matter who takes care of me, but Enrique and Antonio deserve a special mention here for ALWAYS taking care of me and my guests; their service is terrific: professional, courteous, and consistent at all times!

Zaman - Sugar Street Review
food menu
On first impressions Zaman is a restaurant driven by innovation, billing itself as an ‘East Meets West Fusion’ restaurant.
Instead, dishes like a straightforward “Singapore noodles with chicken or prawns or vegetables” sit uncomfortably next to “Penne pasta with forest mushrooms, cream parmesan and truffle oil” (which with a not so beady eye you can spot the pretentious and unnecessary use of truffle oil).
The meaty grilled king prawns are delicious, swimming in a perfectly balanced lemon butter, chilli, garlic and coriander sauce (such an effective mix it’s hard to get wrong), which makes for a decent starter portion.
The grilled asparagus and mushroom ragout is less effective – the ragout overly sweet and the asparagus, although cooked well, is a bit bland.
Farruj Mussahab is tender and plumb, and the accompanying garlic sauce is sweet, the right side of powerful, but the meat is under seasoned.
