Metropolitan Bar in Marylebone, London Pub Review and Details

This one's probably doomed to suffer for it's location on top of Baker Street tube station - not unsurprisingly, it regularly fills up with concert and sport goers on their way to Wembley.

That said, the staff cope well with the influxes and it's hard to argue with the selection of well-kept real ales or the prices for that matter.

Along the lines of Wetherspoon's large premises, it's no surprise about either price or beer, as they generally do both things pretty well.

And if you're meeting someone at Baker Street, it's hard to miss it.

There are old posters inside the pub advertising them.

Anyway, it's had a of a refurb lately, more of a wipe its arse job than a full revamp so it's difficult to tell what they did apart from an huge increase of the high table and stools infestation making usable seating hard to find at busy times, like just after work.

Two banks of handpumps, the guests tend to be on the set nearer the entrance, which annoyingly seems to be where the off duty tube staff like to stand guzzling Wifebeater so it's difficult to see what's what.
