There are now several burger restaurants in Walthamstow, Leyton and North East London.
Last week we visited Uptown Burger Co on Leyton High Road.
Leyton High Road is over a mile and a half long and Uptown Burger Co sits equidistant from Leyton tube station on the Central line and Bakers’ Arms shopping district on Lea Bridge Road.
On the edge of the flourishing Francis Road neighbourhood, Uptown Burger Co is one of several new intriguing Leyton destinations that have popped up since 2012.
But Uptown Burger Co is a quirky addition to Leyton High Road and I hope they get enough trade to succeed.
