This Italian restaurant in Walthamstow village changes its selective menu on a daily basis.
Classic Italian ingredients are prominent on the menu – minestrone, aubergine, Parma ham all feature on the starters, whilst a selection of meat, fish and pasta dishes (the latter only served during the week) make up the menu.
A selection of natural wines sourced from small artisan growers are also marked out on the menu.
A romantic French restaurant in the heart of Walthamstow Village, East London, La Ruga serves fine cuisine from a daily changing menu.
Menu specialities include whole Dover sole in butter and lemon sauce, wild boar steak with grilled vegetables in porcini mushroom and cream sauce and the fillet of beef on a crostini with pate and red wine sauce.
