EAT ME — VEGANSOFLDN
This blog post is from vegansofLDN founder, Serena Lee, in affiliation with Uber.
£10 free ride on Uber (new accounts only): use code VEGANSOFLDN I've lived in east London for seven years now and, since becoming vegan in early 2014, I've seen vegan and vegan-friendly spots pop up in huge numbers over the last couple of years.
Today I'm rounding up some of my favourite places that deliver to east London via UberEats, and some of my favourite restaurants to catch an Uber to for around £10 or less (from the Hackney area).

Vegan roasts in London – Sareta's Kitchen
food menu value
The ubiquitous Sunday roast is as much a part of London food culture as curry and fish and chips and whilst many places are now regaling vegans with their vegan to-fish options, it’s rather difficult to find a vegan decent roast in the city.
Home to the weekly Lazy Vegan Sunday roast served from 1-5pm and regularly featuring as a London Vegan Meet Up location, this is one of the most popular choices in London.
Offering up an affordable vegan nut roast every second week – in rotation with a second vegetarian offering every other week – this is another fine spot for Sunday lunch in London.
Perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, served with the usual fare of seasonal veggies, roast potatoes and gravy, it’s a simple yet tasty nut roast.
The Bear serves a salt baked beetroot alongside herb & garlic potatoes, braised red cabbage, vegetables and gravy – don’t worry that there’s talk of honey and butter on the roast menu as the vegan roast gets a different batch.
