Expect a warm welcome from Pani and his team at newly opened Panorama in Whetstone.

In this bright white light-filled space with an olive tree taking centrestage and murals of Pani’s favourite Greek landmarks adorning the walls, you will feel truly wafted back to your favourite Greek taverna in the sunny Greek islands.

Rullo's, London, Kensal Rise. Book now!

Well well, where to start with Rullo’s?

We could start, as many meals do at this funky but classy Italian eatery on Chamberlayne Road, with the bruchettone, but – although a good example to illustrate Rullo’s way of taking Italian staples familiar across London in delicious new directions, in this case with an undying commitment to super fresh produce, exquisite but understated presentation and occasional twists on the classic tomato and basil bruschetta (rosemary and olive is a particular favourite) – each and every item dished up at Kensal Rise’s coolest Italian place is likely to start long, elaborate and excited descriptions, the likes of which we unfortunately don’t have time for here.

So let’s focus on the location – a prime spot on Chamberlayne Road in Kensal Rise, just a short stroll across from Queen’s Park and barely 15 minutes on foot from Portobello Road Market and Notting Hill – and the decor, elegant but kitschy, with gorgeous Italian antique lamps and colourful mosaics combining with exposed brick walls, brass counters and scrubbed wooden fittings.

Rullo’s is always cosy, even for an after-work wine, and Italian culinary connoisseurs have been known to traipse quite far across London to find it, so it’s always wise to book.
