Neighbour is a new independent bar and restaurant offering stunning seasonal food, great wines and carefully crafted drinks in the very heart of Kentish Town.

Nodding to the vibrant social community on its doorstep, Neighbour is a spot for daytime meets or after-work drinks; a hangout for pre-Forum beers or casual evening meals; a space to celebrate with mates or dine intimately with the family. The brasserie-style menu draws on inspiration from all corners of the Mediterranean, focusing on seasonality and embracing the best produce available.

Summer dishes such as sea trout with pea salsa, charred baby gem and Anya potatoes are complemented by an extensive list of small plates, ideal for grazing – fried chicken with sriracha ketchup and green salad, or fritto misto with salsa verde, to name a couple.

A full brunch menu is available daily from 11am, and 10am on weekends.Behind the bar you’ll find an impressive list of organic and biodynamic wines by the glass, a bout

Don't miss: Spiritual Sessions at St Pancras Old Church ...

Like a dollop of ambience with your music?

Which is why we’re drawn like mosquitos to gigs at St Pancras Old Church, the properly ancient site of worship that dates back to Roman times – and still needs an injection of cash to survive.

Next up on Feb 27th is Spiritual Sessions, hosted by Rafael Pesce, owner of the tiny Ferdinand Street caiprinha bar, which is set to feature four music acts, as well as poetry and dramatic monologues.

Artists include Spiritual bar regular Tarq Bowen , who has being recording with Nick Mason from Pink Floyd, headliner and festival regular Sam Green, harpist Tara Minton and blues/folk duo Cosmo House.

So if you’ve never been, head down to Pancras Road and see why the building’s worth saving.

Te Amo | Restaurants in Kentish Town, London

food

We love you, Te Amo: this Kentish Town kebab restaurant gets its grills, meze and salads just right.

Please note, Te Amo is now closed.

Te Amo bravely occupies a space that has brutally crushed three other restaurants in living memory.

It might be too early to predict success where others have failed, but the Lebanese owners of Te Amo are certainly doing things right on the quality front.

There’s plenty to love about Te Amo.
