A former live music venue, this chilled out pub and restaurant is one of a number of cool venues springing up around Lewisham.
The building itself was severely damaged in 2011 as a result of the London riots, and the music venue all but destroyed, forcing it to close.
The bar offers a decent selection of beers, ciders, craft ales and cocktails, while the kitchen will feature a changing line-up of resident street food vendors.
First up is Other Side Fried who offer a mouth-watering selection of fried chicken burgers, Southern-inspired sides like mash potato, corn fritters and loaded fries.
Lewisham's Dirty South reopens after 6 years - and Other Side Fried ...
cleanliness food
Back in 2011, Dirty South was a tidy little music venue on Lewisham High Street, until the London riots put a stop to that.
Now it's set to finally open its doors again, reborn six years later as a casual restaurant and bar - and they're bringing in chicken burger obsessives Other Side Fried especially for the occasion.
During the launch week, Other Side Fried will be dishing loads of deep-fried goodies, many of which fans will recognise from their POP Brixton pitch, like: If you're really going for a belly blowout though, we can't think of any more efficient way than by adding a side of their rather special Dirty Fries, complete with bacon, cheese, hot sauce and ranch dressing.
As for what Dirty South is cooking up when they don't have Other Side Fried at the controls, it's a bit of a mystery.

ES Food Newsletter Lewisham pub Dirty South is having a very grand re-opening next week, and to celebrate, they thought they'd give the fine people of south London a little present: free meat.
The burger giveaway is the first in a series of street food vendor takeovers at the space.
The self-proclaimed kings of chicken will be dishing out menu favourites, including a fiery fried buffalo burger, a sweet sweet honey butter bird and the O.S.F burger, a monster of a creation filled with bacon, American cheese, pickled onions, lettuce and house sauce.
