Without a doubt, tasting the new Strada menu was one of the best dining experiences my boyfriend and I have ever had (and as quite the foodie, I still can’t believe I’m able to write that sentence about a national chain restaurant).
Every single dish was spectacular, so I’ll try to only pick out a few highlights: The quality of the ingredients was allowed to shine through in every single dish; I especially loved the parma ham in the Antipasto and my boyfriend – who couldn’t get enough of the melt-in-the-mouth buffalo mozzarella and the olive tapenade – also agreed that one of the Antipasto dishes would make the perfect lunch.
Whoever developed the dish has a true genius for texture!
As for the desserts, we have argued and argued but my boyfriend and I cannot decide on a favourite ... The amount of flavour in the gelato is unbelievable; the texture of the affogato will make you wish you’d ordered five; the bunet piemontese is a ridiculously indulgent guilty pleasure!
An unashamed 10/10 for Strada’s new menu then, and thank you very much for allowing us to be one of the first people to have the pleasure of tasting it!
