Pub On The Park
Welcome to Pub On The Park - Pub On The Park
We have 2 function rooms available to hire, the first being our upstairs cosy front room that comes complete with couches and low seating, gas fires and a vintage ghetto blaster that you can plug a modern day audio device into, this room holds approximately 35 persons seating and 45 standing Our Second room is our ‘Bears Den’.
We can provide buffet style food for both rooms or our daily menu is available seven days a week.
Pub on the Park offers a secluded private room appropriate for wedding ceremonies with restricted access for the wedding party only; this room is distant from the serving areas of the pub.
We feel that the historic nature of London Fields (recorded as common pastureland in 1275, given its current name in 1540 with the impressive line of Plane trees planted in the 1800s) is a perfect setting for the commitment of wedding vows.
We are very proud to be host to the local community and already host 50 wedding receptions a year, with brides and grooms (from Hackney as well as London-wide) all agreeing that the site is perfect for romantic photo shoots and that a wedding reception on London Fields is an idyllic London urban wedding setting for guests of all ages, from babies to the elderly.

Pub on the Park in Hackney, London Pub Review and Details
facilities
The Pub on the Park's prominent placement within London Fields, is both this pub's key feature and its Achilles' heel.
Although the pub's in a Victorian building, it's an open, airy sort of place, especially when it's warm enough to throw the windows and doors open and, with the terrace looking out over the park, there's usually plenty of room.
On the plus side, when it is busy, you can get your drink in a plastic and sit in the park.
But then of course you're no longer in the pub.
The Pub on the Park is a bit of a mixed bag, excellent at times, frustrating at others and a welcome respite from the relentless gastroism of many other pubs around here.

This buzzing boozer close to London Fields station really draws the crowds in summer.
Most of that's down to a spacious outdoor terrace snaking around two sides of the roomy pub, with the green of London Fields itself within pint-tossing distance.
Expect a menu big on British produce, with dishes including Cornish mackerel with a gooseberry compôte, and marsh-fed lamb cutlets with smoked cauliflower, confit garlic jus and rainbow chard.
A short wine list also features, alongside seasonal stuff - jugs of Pimm's do brisk business in the summer.
Projector screens outside and decent-size TVs inside show the big sports events, with numerous games shown when the need arises.
