So after my previous McGangBang I concluded that the beef patty was too small and was out gunned by the bread in the burger so I decided to try it again with the bigger quarter pounder burger.
I asked for a double cheeseburger but with quarter pounder beef patty's, and the server said I could just have a double quarter pounder, which they serve already, and it would be quicker to price up.
The only difference would be the bun is bigger but I didn't think it would be that big a difference.
Can't believe I am doing this again.... The bottom of the double quarter pounder bun was quite heavily toasted as you can see from the picture 2 up and there was a bit too much mayo in the McChicken Sandwich as well.
There was still a bit too much bun here so next time, if there ever is a next time, I will insist on the cheeseburger bun.

Burger joints of the nation unite on 27 August to celebrate the inherent glory of grilled meat betwixt buns, with big guns like Meat Liquor, Patty & Bun, Honest Burgers and Byron being among those offering a 20% discount on all orders.

The burgers are great but the service leaves a bit much to be desired and, depending on the day, you may end up waiting a while, not only for your food, but for the check, as well.
The menu isn't enormous, but it has a well-rounded selection of beef, chicken, and veggie burgers, as well as salads, drinks (including milkshakes), and decadent desserts.
