The PS Tattershall Castle is a floating pub and restaurant moored on the River Thames at the Embankment.
It served as a passenger ferry across the Humber estuary from 1934 to 1973, before being towed to London in 1976.
The steamer was built by William Gray & Company in 1934[1] as a passenger ferry on the Humber for the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER).
The opening of the Humber Bridge made the ferry service, known to have existed since at least Roman times,[5] redundant.
A third similar Humber ferry, the PS Lincoln Castle, built in 1940, was scrapped in Autumn 2010.

The Tattershall is one of the premier destinations in the city and the incident on Wednesday has reflected poorly on your company and staff.
Initially the staff were very helpful in finding an alternative space for our group as there was confusion with the reservation which I had made.
I had paid a deposit to book a space for 20 people for food and drinks from 6:30 – though we didn’t make our way down straight away I did come down several times to let the staff know we were at the Tattershall and would be coming down soon and would still want to use the space.
Unfortunately the space was given away anyway which was disappointing, but the staff were exceptionally helpful with rearranging our seating arrangements and they are a credit to the company.
We were very grateful that the staff were able to find us an alternative table, however the way I was spoken to by the manager in front of my colleagues at our work social was unacceptable.
