Cheap, fast, fuss-free Japanese cuisine in the heart of London.
The menu at Eat Tokyo is always mammoth, but I ended up wanting to get the bento box again.
Which is a nice relief in a town like London where everything always looks overrun on a busy night.
First introduced to me by my good friend Craig, it’s a little gadget-like arcade with machines that do very cool things.
So I’d very likely return to another Eat Tokyo but maybe just a bit more way.

This Catherine Street venue is the Covent Garden branch of a five-strong chain of Japanese restaurants.
As with the other branches, here it's mostly about recognisable Japanese staples.
Expect, then, sushi and sashimi alongside dishes such as vegetable tempura, various donburi, chicken teriyaki, tofu salads and bento boxes.
Keep an eye out for what look like good-value sushi and sashimi platters, too.
