Since opening a few months ago, Fleet Street eatery Coco di Mama has been offering “fresh food, Italian style” at a brisk pace to a seemingly never ending queue of hungry morning and afternoon patrons.
Londonist reckons Coco is as good as any nearby fast food joints for parting with one's lunchtime quid.
Nothing terribly revolutionary going on here – just good food at a decent price when you're in a rush.

Greek restaurant, the Athenian, New-York style pizza restaurant Pizza Street, quick service Italian concept Coco di Mama and American goods bakery Butterscotch will occupy space in the WestWorks building.
The Athenian, a Greek restaurant launched in 2014 by two Londoners born and raised in Athens and Cyprus, will be opening their first restaurant at White City Place, having started as a small street food venture.

A London start-up that aims to serve pasta faster and counts Lord Rose as an investor has been bought by the owner of the ASK Italian and Zizzi restaurant chains.
Azzurri Group has snapped up Coco di Mama, a six-store chain of Italian food and coffee outlets which sell healthy pasta dishes, salads and sandwiches speedily.
The acquisition by Azzurri, which has nearly 250 restaurants nationwide, will help propel rapid growth for Coco, which aims to have 40 branches in the next few years.
Co-founders and childhood friends Jeremy Sanders and Daniel Land will remain with the business.
Azzurri Group chief executive Steve Holmes said: “We have watched Coco di Mama’s development from the start and I am delighted that they will be joining Azzurri.
