The Fry up Inspector: Terry's Cafe - Borough, London
food drinks staff
From the gingham table cloths and classic condiment stacks to the historic local photos on the walls this place was visually stunning and one you just have to see for yourself.
A perfect egg yolk was bulging from beneath the bacon and I was delighted to see tinned tomatoes sitting between the thick beans and chunky mushrooms.
Good solid tables and chairs, gingham table cloths, classic condiment stacks and a varied breakfast menu soon make you realise things don't get much better than this.
/10 Contents - 1 jumbo cumberland sausage, 3 rashers of bacon, 2 slices of black pudding, bubble and squeak, 1 fried egg, tinned tomatoes, mushrooms and beans.
The 20p cup of tea is really nice touch but one thing not to miss is that amazing bubble and squeak.

The little gem that is Terry’s Cafe is everything that epitomizes life in London and why it is so special.
The day we arrived was a Sunday and the area around our new flat was all shut up; it was a little depressing The next morning David (The Brit) and I wandered out to our local cafe for breakfast.
The place is called Terry’s Cafe and it is located just steps from our flat.
The exterior of the place is like any other little cafe.
The old cafe tables are covered in red and white check tablecloths and the old plates and other bits of knickknacks scattered here and there make the place cozy.
