Came across this little gem more or less accidental Ilir took his time to kindly explain all the breakfast options.
Although there was a steady flow of hungry people, we never had the impression y after finishing (one of) the best english breakfasts we ever enjoyed.
To me, this is the one breakfast spot to go to!
Thank you for a lovely start of our London visit!
It is a tiny and tidy place at London Bridge Station with 4 seats inside and a handful of tables outside.

It’s hard to be dissatisfied with imperfection when it’s friendly.Likewise, their counter menu, printed straight off the Excel preview screen, was informative and easy on the eyes of someone conditioned to Microsoft Office.
My Tea Shop is more than a restaurant.
The bacon is crisp, the egg not too runny and not too hard, the chips fluffy and the tomato bountiful.
That this reality cost 8 pounds for 2 people makes the Playstation 3 seem even more overpriced. You can realise your dreams at My Tea Shop, just not ones that involve spinach.

I wrote about the Little Portland Cafe 12 years ago on A Good Place For A Cup of Tea And A Think.
In the intervening years they've started doing chips so now it's time for an Egg, Bacon, Chips and Beans entry.
And that, therefore, beans = Rome, bacon = sky.
All the basics, lined-up and ready to go.
The Little Portland's interior is dominated upfront by a huge glass cabinet of delight and at the back by tables.

Like most areas bordering busy stations, the food and drink options in London Bridge are a mixed bag — less village-like than Bermondsey to the west, more aimed at the City crowd than nearby Borough Market.
Note: we’re talking about London Bridge as the area surrounding the station, with the river to the north, down to Borough station in the south, and running from Borough High Street to the west to Bermondsey Street in the east.
London Grind has the artisan coffee and cocktails of its more established Shoreditch branch, as well as a full restaurant menu for the crowds taking full advantage of the sunrise through to midnight opening times.
Foods of other nations are well-represented, with good-value Indian curries at Silka's Southwark basement, great Italian pasta and fish dishes at Giuseppe's Place and the Turkish mezze at the Borough High Street branch of the Tas Restaurant chain.
The slickest, shiniest restaurants in the London Bridge area are housed in The Shard.
