London Grind is located on London Bridge itself, just above Borough Market and across the road from the Shard.

Bookings & Reservations At all times we keep lots of the tables in London Grind free for walk-ins.

For weekend brunch bookings, we may politely ask for the table back after 90 minutes – which should be more than enough time to enjoy your brunch.

Please note we can only hold your table for 10 minutes after your reservation time.

Shoreditch Grind

The first Grind, Shoreditch Grind has sat on Old Street Roundabout since 2011, and is now a bit of a Shoreditch landmark.

Adding an international-grade recording studio upstairs in 2012, and a full kitchen in 2015, today it serves coffee, food and cocktails up to 18 hours a day.

Coming back to our roots, we're now also roasting coffee just around the corner, at Grind HQ in the heart of Shoreditch, and you can now buy our coffee tins online.

Who decided coffee should just be a day time thing?

London Grind is open from 7am offering breakfast, all-day dining with dishes such as Chicken salad, pomegranate, cavalo nero (£8.50) and King prawns, chicory, crushed chia seeds (£14).

It was pretty buzzing at 8.45am, mostly full of workers getting their morning coffees although we noticed the kitchen churning out a lot of breakfast takeaway orders.

Coffee was great, as to be expected, the Grind Espresso blend is a mix of Brazil Fazenda Sao Silvestre 40% Mexico Finca Muxbal 40% Guatamala Santa Ana La Huerta 20%.

To eat I chose the One-pan eggs (£7.50) with spinach, tomatoes, beans, pistachios although there was tonnes of other stuff I wanted to try, like the Banana bread with creme fraiche and honeycomb (£5) and the Raw breakfast salad of kale, broccoli, avocado, seeds, poached egg (£7).

Last Saturday Homeboy and I popped into this London Bridge restaurant, espresso bar and cocktail bar.

If you’re looking for weekend brunch near Borough Market, London Bridge restaurants or coffee shops in SE1, you must visit the London Grind.

“Tuck into a wonderful weekend brunch while you savour some of the best coffee in town,” Homegirl London We sampled the weekend brunch menu which had some lovely dishes and is served until 5pm.

Homeboy decided on the sweet potato harissa cakes with a poached egg.

Another healthy option was the smashed feta with chilli and poached eggs on toast, beetroot smoked salmon with eggs or a bowl of heritage tomato salad with buffalo ricotta.
