The Market Porter in Borough, London Pub Review and Details
This is a gem of a pub - it's got something for everyone no matter what time or day of the week you choose to visit.
It's a lively place on a Friday and Saturday nights with a mixed crowd and a real pub atmosphere.
A great pub that's worth going out of your way for and what with the recent refurbishment to the and extension of the back room there's now more chance of getting a seat.
But it does get very, very busy when Borough Market is on (Fridays and Saturdays), with traders and visitors alike piling in.

Famous for scavengers who made a living in the Thames mud You will find The Mudlark in London Bridge within a short stroll of London Bridge, Southwark Cathedral and South Bank - however you won't find another like it.
Step in to discover a traditional pub of unique character, revered for its eclectic range of real ales and its quality pub food, which are served, as they should be, with a generous measure of famous British hospitality.
The Mudlark gets its name from the 18th Century practice of scavenging the muddy Thames riverside for coal, bits of old iron, and any other loot that may have fallen from passing ships.
For years our historic pub has been a favourite with the market traders of Borough Market, the oldest fruit and vegetable market in London.

Fun fact: The Market Porter was turned into the Third Hand Book Emporium in 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban'.
Don't be surprised to see Potter fans making the pilgrimage.
