We run a weekly pub quiz every Wednesday at 8pm (book a table to avoid disappointment), regular emerging live music events and seasonal parties.

Old George in Bethnal Green, London Pub Review and Details
Until recently bizarrely called 'Old George - Don't You Mean Kempy's?'
this is one of the many unreconstructed traditional style boozers on Bethnal Green Road.
It's a big, high ceilinged but slightly gloomy place, decked out with green velour bench seating and what looked like brick-effect wall panelling.
The drinks won't set your pulse racing but the service is friendly enough and the crowd seemed fine - a real mix of old fellas, geezers, a smattering of newer Bethnal Green residents and a pub cat.
Overall, despite being perfectly acceptable for a couple of drinks, its not somewhere we could envisage spending a whole evening.
