On January 1st 2010, the Little Bay restaurant in Battersea was struck by a tragic fire which gutted the property.
We are proud to present to you: TWID Live Music Bar and Restaurant.

TWID Live Music Bar and Restaurant in Battersea opened on the 23rd January 2017 and is now accepting reservations.

Fire guts Little Bay's Battersea restaurant

Eight fire engines and over 40 firefighters were called to fight a blaze at the Little Bay restaurant in Battersea on New Year’s Day, just as the restaurant finished its first service of the year.
The fire, which is thought to have started in the restaurant’s kitchen at 9pm, damaged most of the four-storey building on York Road, and caused part of the structure to collapse.
Four diners along with eight staff members evacuated the premises immediately, while two people from the flats above had to be rescued by the London Fire Brigade via a ladder.
Peter Ilic, owner of the Little Bay restaurant group, which last February abandoned bills and asked diners to pay what they liked for their food, told BigHospitality the fire was a ‘terrible’ incident, but praised the quick actions of his staff members to evacuate the building.
Little Bay restaurant group also has sites in Kilburn, Farringdon and Croydon.
Little Bay Battersea re-opens under new name
The restaurant on York Road in Battersea, has been closed since 1 January 2010 when the site was struck by a fire.
While the restaurant is no longer called Little Bay, James Ditchfield, marketing manager for Little Bay and now TWID, said some of the original restaurant's features had been retained, such as its theatrical decor and tiered seating areas.

Features introduced at the new-look restaurant include a sharing menu featuring a range of meat, fish, vegetarian, vegan and raw dishes to choose from.
