The dough isn't as squishy as I'm used to from the likes of Franco Manca and Pizza Pilgrims - instead it has a pleasing bite to it.

The pizzas range from £7.75 to £12 and the calzone with ricotta, salami dolce, mozzarella and basil (£12) is worth splashing out on if you happen to find a few extra coins in your pocket.

There's also a delicious £8 dessert pizza filled with Nocciolata Crema Di Cacao E Nocciole (translation: posh Nutella) that easily stretches to four.

Adam Demosthenous and his sister are the sourdough specialists behind Battersea hit, and terrifically-named, Flour to the People!

It's their marvelous margherita pizza that made it onto our list of London Cheap Eats.

Our signature dish is our eggs Benedict served on homemade sourdough crumpets.

The Neapolitan sourdough pizzas are made by a highly skilled pizzaiolo, who is over here learning English and teaching us.

My grandmother used to bake in an outside wood-fired oven and make sourdough bread regularly.

They're on sourdough bases, and range from traditional neopolitanas to the more unusual option of English breakfast.
